Organic Chemistry Laboratory

General Information

Chemistry 331 (lecture), Chemistry 332 (lecture) and Chemistry 337 (lecture and laboratory) constitute the course sequence for pre-professional students (medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy and other health professions), chemical engineering students and other students, not majoring in chemistry, who require a year of organic chemistry.

*Special note for students who used Vollhardt's textbook/study guide-solutions manual in CH 334/CH 335/CH 336 - Sudents who still have their Vollhardt books do not need to purchase the Bruice books as readings for Units 11 to 14 will be provided from the Vollhardt book

If you are not currently registered for CH 337 and you are a Senior who needs this course in order to graduate June 2015 please email either Dr. Myles or Dr. Walker at your earliest convenience.

If you are not currently registered for CH 337 and you have confirmed arrangements for transferring to another university at the conclusion of Spring Term please either Dr. Myles or Dr. Walker at your earliest convenience.

Concurrent registration in CH 332 and CH 337 is not permitted since CH 331/CH 332 are enforced prerequisites.

Concurrent registration in CH 336 and CH 337 is not permitted since CH 334/CH 335/CH 336 are enforced prerequisites.
